Sounds | April Art, Try

Vrijdag 30 september verschijnt hun nieuwe album, Pokerface.

The quartet from central Hesse has been active locally and nationally since 2014. April Art are energetic, melodic and unmistakable. When they founded the band, they had planned to form a band in which music was the absolute focus of everyone's life. So to practice a band life in which nothing is more important than rocking the live locations with the music together and conquering as large a fan base as possible. With honest passion, April Art write powerful, emotional and modern rock music that catches your ear and has a message.

The band proves their rock talents on stage: live performances always mean full throttle with April Art. With excellent and varied guitar work, Chris Bunnell decisively shapes the modern and emotional sound of the band. Frontwoman Lisa-Marie Watz, who performs with her charismatic, rough voice to the point of complete exhaustion, creates closeness to the audience through constant communication and always includes them in the events. On the drums, Ben Juelg provides a loud and aggressive drum sound, which is characterized by musical grooves and crisp fills. The band's sound is rounded off by bassist Julian Schuetze, who not only provides the sound foundation but also fresh, funky basslines that make him an unmistakable part of the band.
