Het is zover; het tweede album van Angus McSix (en dan ook ineens het eerste album grotendeels zonder Angus McSix) komt ter wereld! Al doet zijn broer, Adam McSix, dat hier ook zeker niet slecht. De muziek blijft in trend met hun vorige album; powermetal met een licht disco gehalte. Al is er bij deze Angus McSix and the All-Seeing Astral Eye misschien toch nog nét iets meer disco. Mij hoor je hier absoluut niet over klagen, het is een leuke combo waar je niet op kan blijven stilzitten. Ook zijn er opvallend minder distracks gericht aan die andere band. Je weet wel, begint met Glory, eindigt op iets dat rijmt met "jammer".
Uitspringers zijn het tragere Dig Down (met Van Canto) en hun samenwerking met Turnmion Kätilöt: Techno Men. Die laatste zou live wel eens voor een stevig feestje kunnen zorgen. Zelfs Freedom Call blijft niet gespaard van een samenwerking met Angus McSix. Hun collab; The Power Of Metal kan je er vanaf de eerste noot uitpikken en is veruit de stevigste track van het album.
Kortom; vond je het eerste Angus McSix album wel wat? Dan gaat deze nieuwste je zeker ook smaken!
