STEVE - I’M NOT DEAD (Official Visualizer)

STEVE has been picked up by our sonar, sir.

Live:

dinsdag 10 februari, Cabron, Antwerpen (BE)

zaterdag 7 maart, Den Trap, Kortrijk (BE)

Meer info

STEVE burst onto the scene like a technicolor fever dream, blending punk energy, noisy experimentation, and hip-hop grooves into a sound that’s entirely their own. In a couple of years, they’ve made waves with intense live shows and earned a reputation as a force of nature. Loud, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore.

Their debut EP ‘NOT A PERSON’ channels the raw energy of their performances, marking a strong introduction to their chaotic, creative world.

Having shared the stage with acts like DoFlame, Heavy Lungs, Rudeboy plays Urban Dance Squad, Wargasm, Channel Zero, and Meltheads; STEVE, featuring Daan Claes, Jef Krieckemans, Leonard Langbeen, and Fenne Gerets, is ready for a new chapter.

Their upcoming music digs deeper into darker, more intense soundscapes, exploring alienation, mental overload, and survival in a fractured world. This is only the beginning of their beautiful disaster.

About I'M NOT DEAD

“I’M NOT DEAD” captures the feeling of barely surviving in an over-stimulated, hostile world; where sleep is the only refuge and being “not dead” feels like the only victory left. Slow-burning and ominous, the track translates STEVE’s chaotic collage aesthetic into a tense, oppressive atmosphere, touching on alienation, imposter syndrome, and the mental fallout of living too fast, echoing the unease of Massive Attack, Death Grips, and Yves Tumor.

This release marks the next step after their debut EP, “NOT A PERSON”, expanding STEVE’s world into darker, heavier territory while sharpening their identity.“Snuff” is Ronker’s bleakest and earnest track to date, leaving the safety of their fuzz boxes and adopting a broader sonic palet. The result is brooding and genuine song about fighting substance abuse, littered with brass, piano’s and shimmering clean guitars.
