Je kan veel zeggen over Doodseskader, maar alleszins niet dat ze een zittend gat hebben.
We zijn nog niet eens bekomen van 'The Change Is Me' en die verpletterende releaseshow, en nu schotelen ze ons nog eens een samenwerking met Messalina voor.
'Messawiena?' hoor ik u zeggen? Messalina is een groep bestaande uit equal parts IGORRR en Svart Crown, die 'visceral blackened rock' spelen.
Lees: een kruising tussen Filter en Deftones, die halverwege nog eens een flinke scheut 45 toegediend krijgt.

Born from members of Igorrr and former members of Svart Crown, Messalina is an all-new blackened rock project where the sensual tension of post-grunge meets the dreamlike quality of blackgaze. The band sculpts a sound that is at once raw, emotional, and hypnotic, giving rise to dense, immersive atmospheres designed to fully unfold on stage.
Tim couldn't be more excited to have been able to add his sound to the track:
"This song just clicked - it really feels like a merging of both our musical universes in the best possible way. To be honest I’m a big fan of the band and these guys as musicians, so when I was asked, I was beyond excited. It fell in my lap at a time when I really had to get some stuff off of my chest, and the combination of brooding and frenzy were a perfect backdrop for my thoughts."
