Sounds | Gaerea - Shallow
Check it out please!

The band comments: "Shallow was written on the edge where depression and clarity briefly meet in an endless dance. It is a song about hoping for a brighter day while sinking deeper into the dark sheets of self-loathing. One of the most experimental tracks GAEREA have ever created, it gave rise to extensive vocal and orchestral experimentation and serves as a reflection of what GAEREA has become throughout ten years of relentless creativity, touring, and complete commitment to our true selves."
But GAEREA did not want to stop there. Inspired by the song's emotional depth and expansive atmosphere, the band invited several artists from vastly different creative backgrounds to reinterpret “Shallow” through their own artistic lens:
The accompanying video for the acoustic version features London-based cellist and composer Jo Quail, whose haunting performance adds an even more somber and cinematic dimension to the track.
