Het is al een hele tijd geleden dat Tobias Sammet nog nieuwe muziek heeft uitgebracht met zijn Avantasia. Toen ik deze The Wicked Rule The Night tussen mijn recommended video's zag staan op YouTube moest ik toch even goed in mijn ogen wrijven om te zien of ik dit wel juist gelezen had. Naar goede gewoonte zingt Tobias niet alleen op zijn nummers, deze keer krijgt hij ondersteuning van niemand minder dan Ralf Scheepers (Gamma Ray), dus bereid je alvast voor op een stevige dosis hoge screams. Nog beter nieuws is dat de band ook een nieuw album gaat uitbrengen. A Paranormal Evening with the Moonflower Society is niet alleen een mond vol, maar ook de naam die dat album zal krijgen. Een exacte releasedatum is nog niet bekend, maar het zal voor de herfst zijn, dus zo oneindig lang moeten we hier ook niet meer op wachten!
