Weet je nog dat er in mijn artikel van gisteren te lezen was dat ik de nieuwe single van Amaranthe een beetje vond tegenvallen? Wel... Dít is nu wat ik graag had willen horen van die band. Upside Down is een geweldig sterk nummer, waarin Melissa nog maar eens laat horen dat zij zowel clean als in haar grunts een bangelijke stem heeft en zo vanavond zeker niet moet onderdoen voor haar collega powervrouwen. Als je niet helemaal mee bent, Ad Infinitum is samen met de Butcher Babies het voorprogramma voor de co-headline show van Amaranthe en Beyond The Black. Upside Down is meteen ook de eerste single van hun pas aangekondigde derde album, Chapter III – Downfall, welke op 31 maart wordt uitgebracht.
