Met deze World War Dinosaur viert Victorius de release van hun vierde studioalbum. Ook dit album is wederom out of this world. Met supersonische riffs, geweldige catchy teksten, melodieën waar je meteen gelukkig van wordt en enkele guest zangers die een leuke bijdragen leveren, krijg je hier weer een op en top Victorius sound. Vanaf Kingdom of the Strong word je meteen meegezogen in een wereld gevuld met dino's, een megalodon, lazers en bazookas. Oh, en ninja's, hoe kan ik de ninja's nu vergeten. Deze combinatie laten werken, is niet voor iedereen weggelegd, maar deze band slaagt er toch maar weer eens in.
Mijn favorieten van het album zijn titeltrack World War Dinosaur, met zijn duidelijk door Sabaton geïnspireerde, maar toch zeer eigen refrein, Raptor Squad Attack met z'n in-your-face powermetal gehalte en Golden Glory, die muzikaal super intriguing is om naar te luisteren. Het is ook echt leuk om deze band te zien groeien in hun muziek. Ik ben al fan sinds Dino's And Dragons, maar als je dat nummer vergelijkt met bijvoorbeeld de drums en riffs van Lost Legacy, ja dan is het verschil in kwaliteit overduidelijk. Bon, het wordt dan dringend tijd dat Victorius eens op een Belgisch of Nederlands festival terecht komt en zo wat meer naamsbekendheid krijgt! Ze verdienen het.
