De zanger klinkt als Mark Knopfler na een stevige nacht op café en ook muzikaal zijn er gelijkenissen met Dire Straits of Knopfler solo en dat zijn zeker geen slechte referenties, quoi? Yarn is een band die al ruim 20 jaar bezig is en al heel wat albums op de teller heeft staan, maar die nog nooit eerder tot in mijn oren geraakten. Dat maakt het plezier om hun oeuvre te ontdekken alleen nog maar groter. En kan ik mee beginnen aftellen naar de release van hun nieuwe album Saturday Night Sermon dat op 24 april zal verschijnen.

Frontman/songwriter Blake Christiana: "Let the good times roll. We don’t know why we’re here or how any of this existence even works. Is it all fated? Is it all free will? So many folks in competition with each other fighting over some made up 'green god' because they’re taught that is the way. But, it’s entirely up to us as individuals to define our own way. Nothing is law, there are no rules, this is whatever we make it."
So the point of this song is nothing more than, don’t put too much stock in these ridiculous systems we’ve created. HAVE FUN being human, embrace your human form and being able to do whatever you want with it; it doesn’t last long.”
