Atijd een dubbel gevoel gehad bij deze New Yorkers rond 'poeze' Taylor Momsen. Ik nam deze ex-Gossip Girl en voormaig topmodel niet bijster serieus, kon echter niet om de krachtige, rauwe strot en haar stage presence heen en zo nu en dan leverden ze nog een goede song af ook. De kentering? Toen Taylerken iedereen omver wist te blazen met haar performance op het Chris Cornell Tribute Concert en daar één van mijn favs (Loud Love) eer aandeed én ook Rusty Cage nailde!
Death by Rock and Roll is een ferme hard rock stomper met een bluesy sfeer. Melodieus en perfect om mee te bleiren tijdens concerten zonder cheesy over te komen. Fuck keys, all guitars en dan die powerstrot van Momsen. Love it!
