We moeten daar niet flauw over doen, de Abbey Road Studios hebben een legendarische status in de muziekwereld. Het al minstens even legendarische zebrapad daarbuiten moet daar qua status niet veel voor onder doen. Wie onder jullie (ik beken zelf ook schuld) heeft zich daarop al overstekend niet bezondigd aan een foto of zou dat zeker doen als je daar bent? Ik vind het dan ook geweldig hoe die van The Old Dead Tree met het concept van dat zebrapad spelen op de hoes van hun aankomende EP London Sessions.
En als de heren al onder de indruk waren (en ik neem aan dĆ t ze dat waren) van de locatie waar ze die sessies mochten opnemen, laten ze dat toch niet merken. Ze laten hun progressieve metalsound er klinken alsof die nergens anders thuis hoort.
