Voor een lekkere portie groove rock mogen ze mij in het weekend altijd komen storen. En met deze Sons of Silver al zeker.

Deze uit L.A. afkomstige band kondigt na twee eerdere EP's en een handvol singles nu de komst van hun debuutalbum, Runaway Emotions, aan voor een nog te bepalen releasedatum latere dit jaar.

Just Getting Started is daaruit de eerste vooruitgeschoven single. Maar debutantjes zijn ze volgens mij zeker niet. De muzikanten van Sons of Silver klinken en zien er uit alsof ze het metier toch al aardig onder de knie hebben. Just Getting Started klinkt sloom en sexy tegelijkertijd. Ideaal voor een zaterdagochtend dus.

Upon its release, “Just Getting Started” gained featured spots on Spotify’s New Release Radar, Alternative Hits, The Needle playlists, as well as Apple’s New in Rock and Breaking Hard Rock playlists. Runaway Emotions follows their EP releases, Doomsday Noises in 2020 and Ordinary Sex Appeal in 2022. Sons of Silver have secured three spots on the Billboard Active Rock Chart, accumulating over nine million views and streams collectively. The new music was self-produced by the band and mixed by renowned producer/engineer Tim Palmer, known for his work with Robert Plant, David Bowie, and U2. “Their music is fueled with both power and raw emotion, with genuinely profound lyrics. Their album is a treasure trove of well-crafted, memorable songs,” says Palmer.
