Nog steeds in de veronderstelling dat we deze heren dit jaar tweemaal live zullen mogen zien spelen, kijken we uit naar het nieuwe album dat eraan komt op 4 maart 2022. Al zal dat album zo nieuw niet meer zijn, aan het tempo dat ze nu reeds singles van dat nieuwe album releasen (met kerst brachten ze immers reeds Christmas Truce uit, wat ik persoonlijk nog een sterker nummer vind, zie link onder het artikel). Het nummer zelf is weer een rasechte Sabaton - song met hun zeer gekende sound. Het verhaal van deze song brengt ons opnieuw terug naar de Eerste Wereldoorlog. Op de een of andere manier vind ik het nummer zelf weinig vernieuwend en had ik eerst het gevoel van - dit heb ik allemaal al eens gehoord. Na enkele luisterbeurten moet ik echter toegeven dat dit live wel een leuk nummer zou kunnen worden! Duidelijk zo'n nummer die een beetje moet groeien alvorens je het leert te appreciëren. Dat het maar snel maart is (nieuw album) en dan juni om deze heren live aan het werk te zien! (Sportpaleis en op Hellfest).

Between the several battlegrounds of WWI, there was no scene as hostile as the feared alpine front that involved a series of battles at the border between Austria-Hungary and Italy. High above in the alps, men would fight in the most extreme conditions to protect the borders.
