Healing is de debuutsingle van de West-Vlaamse (doom)metalgroep Rudenya.
De inspiratie voor hun groepsnaam haalden ze uit het Litouwse woord rudeneja, dat vrij vertaald kan worden naar ‘herfstgevoel’, niet toevallig is ‘Embrace the Autumn Fire’ hun slagzin. Verwacht je echter niet aan kleffe ‘hygge’, hun muziek bestaat uit stevige maar catchy riffs aangedreven door krachtige drumpartijen, die samen met de warme, cleane zang van zangeres Tamara nooit de melodie uit het oog verliezen. De melancholische toon van Healing krijgt heel wat body mee door de zware maar melodieuze gitaren en goed geplaatste grunts van bassist Kristof Dewulf (bekend van H8000 bands als Deformity en Congress).
Healing kan tellen als visitekaartje: in een mooie productie balanceert Rudenya meeslepende melodieën met harde riffs en grunts, de song groeit bij elke luisterbeurt.

Rudenya is a band with its origins rooted in Gullegem BE, with members who have brought some experience with them over the years. The name is derived from the Lithuanian word ‘rudeneja’. The meaning and feeling of the word fits perfectly with the band's mindset. Musically you can expect some 90’s melancholium where lyrics are as important as the music itself and with a nod to contemporary riffing. Heavy, catchy and melodic are some keywords that give colour to the story. The foursome is hungry to hit local stages and soon there will be some tracks recorded/released.
