No Sweat? My ass! Al ooit eens een Ronker song gehoord of performance meegemaakt waar het zweet niet - figuurlijk of letterlijk - vanaf spat? Het vraagt zoals steeds een degelijke opwarming om er dan als berserkers in te vliegen. Thrashy riffs, razende drums en baslijnen, vuile punk vocals... Ronker zoals we ze kennen. Visueel doen die pink Flying V alsook de TikTok dansjes op het einde me toch weer eens goed lachen. Ook dat is op en top Ronker: geen al te vrolijke boodschappen verpakt met een vette knipoog!
Het nieuwe album komt er begin februari 2026 aan!

RONKER is not the first state-of-the-art speednoise band to ever exist, but they are the first ones to coin the term. Formed in 2020 in the heart of the swamplands of Belgium the band comes naturally weathered and screaming bloody murder.
RONKERās music can be described as a mix between Danzig-era Misfits and Helmet, equally influenced by the earliest of hardcore-punk and 90ās alternative guitar music.
Since its inception RONKER can mainly be found on the road. Carving out an audience in the most old-school fashion: by playing live. Always visceral, urgent and frantic, RONKER is prime example of being staunchly committed to rock and roll athleticism. Throwing shapes and taking names.
