Een nieuw liedje van Neck Deep? Yes, please! Die zijn altijd welkom. Al bij de eerste noten van You Should See Me Now voel je gewoon de Neck Deep vibes en ik vind dit zo geweldig. Als je daar dan nog eens het unieke geluid van Ben Barlow zijn stem aan toevoegd, kan het je gewoon niet ontgaan dat dit een ND song is.

Zanger en frontman Ben Barlow zegt het volgende over hun nieuwe song: “You Should See Me Now’ is a song about hard work, self-belief, the struggle through adversity and proving people wrong. As a band we’ve always been pretty humble and shied away from too much self-aggrandisement, but this felt like a good way of showing a little pride, and hopefully people can relate to that too. It was a song we’ve had in the bank for a long time and really should’ve been on the album in the first place, so it’s nice to have such a strong bonus track to be featured on something cool to be announced soon.”

Morgen speelt Neck Deep trouwens op de eerste editie van Slam Dunk België. En er zijn nog kaartjes, dus allen daarheen! De place to be is de Trix in Antwerpen.
