Een paar dagen geleden kregen we de vraag iets te pennen over het nieuwe werk van de Finse shoegaze/spacerock band Ludalloy. Paar luisterbeurten en toegegeven, het drietal maakt mooie nummers die zich netjes aan het stramien houden: zachte, dromerige passages afgewisseld (of gevolgd door) hevige (gitaar)uitbarstingen, gedrenkt in effecten, met daarbovenop ijle vocalen, tweestemmig in dit geval. Denk onze eigen Slowcrush, maar misschien net iets 'fijner'.

"Sine was born from the need to compose music on my own - through the ethereal and colossal walls of guitar and effects. The songs of Sine have been alive more or less than 10 years. The first pieces are made 2010 in high school and the last ones 2020. The rest of them are located somewhere between. After all, there were around 20 songs but these 8 make an intact entirety. Ludalloy did arise around these songs and the story will continue among the new songs we've been producing while gathering the debut album in its shape. So, there's gonna be some great buzz in the future!"
