Maja Shinning en Mikkel Haastrup - oftewel Forever Still - blijven het via de Patreon weg doen. Voor tekst en uitleg verwijs ik dus naar hun pagina daar. Nieuwe single Blackout is al sinds half april via diverse streamingdiensten te beluisteren. Ik had echter op een video gehoopt en wachtte dus af. Tevergeefs. Het nummer laat hun 'symphonic' verleden horen, maar ook deze keer wijken ze van het 'klassieke' pas af en laten ze elektronische invloeden doorsijpelen. Maja zingt nog steeds glashelder en laat het screamen voor wat het is. Blackout heeft wat mij betreft trouwens sterke Disney vibes... en dat is verre van slecht.
Hun derde album zou ergens dit jaar moeten verschijnen.
