Einar Solberg en The Norwegian Radio Orchestra zijn een bijzonder goede match. Want na op Stella Mortua tillen ze ook op deze track Solberg's stem naar eenzame hoogten. Einar slaagt erin om ons alle facetten van zijn kenmerkende stem te laten horen. En dat is alleen maar genieten natuurlijk.
Einar's aankomende nieuwe solo album zal Vox Occulta gaan heten en de release datum staat gepland voor 24 april via inside out music.
Voor fans die er wel veel centjes voor over hebben biedt hij een toch bijzondere limited vinyl package ... ik ben toch aan het twijfelen.

Einar Solberg of Leprous is set to release his upcoming second solo album ‘Vox Occulta’, on 24th April, 2026. A bold, heavy and symphonic statement, the album was recorded in collaboration with the much-sought-after Norwegian Radio Orchestra.
Today, Einar is pleased to present a new track titled ‘Vita Fragilis’, a song created a alongside the aforementioned orchestra. The video gives a glimpse behind the scenes at the orchestra recording the parts.
Einar comments: “‘Vita Fragilis’ was done together with the Norwegian Radio Orchestra. A cinematic and progressive track with no normal verse/chorus structure, and the longest stretch of harsh vocals I’ve done in a while. Curious how odd time signatures sound with a full symphonic orchestra?”
