Doodseskader is terug met de nieuwe single en video FLF die hun "sonic terror" een niveau hoger doet tillen. Na aanwezig te zijn bij hun vernielende en stomende passages in Bar Bricolage, Ancienne Belgique, De Vooruit(of beter gezegd Viernulvier) en De Casino ben ik helemaal weg geblazen door dit fenomenale duo. Niet enkel door hun shows, maar ook door de dankbaarheid en sympathie die ze overbrengen naar hun fans. Een bezoekje aan hun merchandise stand na een optreden is dan ook een must, niet enkel voor hun coole shirts maar ook voor de sympathie van deze kerels van dichtbij te zien en te voelen. Zanger/bassist Tim De Gieter en zanger/drummer Sigfried Burroughs zagen we bij Year One worstelen met hun innerlijke demonen en het leven zelf, maar FLF is meer een zelfportret van Tim. In drie verschillende talen neemt hij ons mee in zijn verleden en laat hij ons kijken in de toekomst van de band. De woorden komen harder binnen na het bekijken van de videoclip, maar daar staan ze dan ook voor gekend om ons een harde klap in het gezicht te verkopen, maar eentje die we wel met veel liefde ontvangen.

Where “Year One” saw showed singer/bassist Tim De Gieter (Amenra, Every Stranger Looks Like You,…) and singer/drummer Sigfried Burroughs (Kapitan Korsakov, The K., …) struggling with their inner demons and life itself, “FLF” functions as an unapologetic self-portrait.
The four phases of the song take you on an intimate journey through De Gieter’s past and present while at the same time offering a glimpse into the band’s future.
“FLF” masterfully blends elements of hiphop, sludge and metal, painting a grim picture of the world around the band as they see it. Just one listen is enough to transport the listener into Doodseskader’s unforgiving universe.
Emerging from life’s underbelly, Doodseskadermercilessly carves their path forward.
From their first show in their hometown to their sold out show in the legendary Ancienne Belgique to this summer’s appearances at Hellfest (FR), Mystic Festival (PL) and others, it is evident that the duo will stop at nothing. Until all is 45.
