We zijn nog maar begin maart,maar wat mij betreft hebben we nu al de song van het jaar gehoord. En misschien wordt het nieuwe album dat er ergens in juli zou aankomen wel het album van het jaar. Voor mij toch al zeker een grote kanshebber daarop.
How Long is een song waarop Bywater Call even meer wordt dan de som van haar delen. De muzikanten tillen elkaar naar een eenzame hoogte en ik heb al in geen tijden meer zo'n doorleefde, gemeende emotie gehoord als in de stem van Meghan Parnell.
Voor wie de band dit jaar nog live zou willen gaan bewonderen, in juni/juli komen ze nog enkele keren door Belgiƫ en Nederland, maar ook in het najaar komen ze nog een paar keer op bezoek. Geen enkel excuus om hen te missen dus!
