Lekker in het oor liggende Country-Rock uit....Zweden, jawel! De vijf (drie jongedames en 2 jongeheren) zien er bovendien nog goed uit ook, al mag dat geen bepalende factor zijn. Mij mogen ze gerust op 13 augustus even overvliegen naar Göteborg voor een interview en hun concert in Pustervik.
Het nieuwe album Second Skin verschijnt op 31 mei in een samenwerking tussen Ditto Music en Icons Creating Evil Art.
Even voorstellen Halm is a country/americana band from Umeå that was formed in 2009.
The members Johanna Sandgren (banjo & vocals), Lisa Johansson (guitar, piano, mandolin & vocals) and Maja Lundgren (upright bass & vocals) met as 13 year olds and have since then developed their sound through the years together with William Eriksson (electric guitar) and Gustav Nestander (drums). Country music was nothing but an uncompromising and natural way to go and after 9 years of touring and writing they released their first full-length album "Raised By The Fire" in 2017.
