Sounds | VÉIR, Confess (Father Almighty)
We zijn gewoon vanuit Noorwegen de meest brutale, aggressieve en toch vrij melodieuze Black Metal over ons heen gekipt te krijgen. Prog echter, behoudens invloeden in bovenvermeld genre, dat is andere koek en dus weten we niet goed wat van deze Véir te denken. Het klinkt allemaal zéér goed op muzikaal en vocaal vlak, leunt af en toe zelfs wat naar Power Metal dat hier door enkele van onze mensen zo geliefd is. Ik laat het finaal oordeel dan ook aan deze kenners over.

VÉIR is a new, exiting Norwegian progmetal /rockband formed in 2020 by Tor Erik Myhre and Frode Moltemyr. They are in the progress of writing new music together and plan to release several singles throughout 2020. Their debutsingle, “Confess (Father Almighty)”, music written by Frode Moltemyr and lyrics by Arne Birketveit is already out on YouTube and will be available on digital platforms on January 31.
Tor Erik Myhre (born 1969) is a semi-professional musician, guitarist, singer and songwriter mostly known for his contribution as a guitarist in JORN from 2008 to 2011. He plays on several albums like DIO, Live in black and 50 Years On Earth. In addition to his musical career Tor Erik is a professional IT consultant, a freelance journalist and volunteers as a Christian pastor. Frode Moltemyr (born 1972) is a professional musician, singer, songwriter and producer with a 25-year long career as a travelling musician. He has played more than 4000 concerts in different institutions and
toured Sweden and Norway with Christian artists Jard and Kjell Samuelson from “The Samuelsons Brothers”. In 2016 he released an album together with his cousin, Tomas Fianbakken in a project called
“Eden Root”. A soloalbum came into reality in 2018 when he released “Travelogue” with his own project “Moltemyr” (Cloudberry Mire).
VÉIR wish to capture impressions on their faith through the lyrics and match them up with heavy riffs and
