Stay Tuned.

Paulette Verlée, the musical alter ego of pianist-composer Veerle Pollet, returns with a new EP 'Adrift'— to be released in 2025. The journey begins today with the release of the first single called 'Pulse', setting the tone for a year of quiet revelations and introspective soundscapes. First single "Pulse" quickens the pace with subtle energy. A quiet heartbeat running under the surface, gently propelling the listener forward. It’s the sensation of movement without destination, of momentum found in stillness.
Known for her poetic piano work and genre-blurring approach, Paulette Verlée invites listeners into a complementary worlds. Adrift, arriving this summer, evokes the hazy stillness of memory and distance. It consists of five intimate piano solo tracks, each unfolding like a quiet moment of reflection — with one exception: Mir, featuring the warm, expressive vocals of Gaetan Vandewoude (Isbells), is a gentle ode to loyalty and belonging.
Adrift is an introspective EP that unfolds like a silent film — five sonic landscapes exploring the delicate space between distance and closeness. Inspired by fleeting moments and drifting memories, the music invites you to lose yourself in its gentle current. From the opening mist of Haze to the lingering echoes of Linger, each track feels like a quiet revelation, suspended somewhere between dreaming and waking. Perfect for late-night listening or moments of stillness, Adrift offers a refuge for the wandering mind — a place where time slows down, and you can drift freely through sound and emotion.
Previously, Paulette released several albums: 'En Attendant' (2024), 'choses vues à droite et à gauche (sans lunettes)' (2022) and 'Les Barricades Mystérieuses' (2023), the last two titles hinting at references to Erik Satie and François Couperin, respectively.
